I was recently reading my way through the Gospel of Mark and I challenged myself to write at least one main theme or idea for each chapter. This gave me an idea for a series of blog posts based on reflections throughout Mark. I’m hoping through doing this, I can find ways to challenge my current beliefs and find new ways to grow through these reflections. In addition to my own reflections, I will attempt to place the readings in both a historical context and a modern-day context that relates to our world today.
For these, I’ll be mostly using the PRISM method of Bible reading and I encourage you to join me and share your own reflections as well.
